Elsa Hosk, the ultimate fashion it girl, has proven herself to be a purveyor of all things cool, and her latest Instagram post celebrates that. New Helsa Collection, SuburbiaProved it once again. Along with her Halsa trench and shorts, she wore a Chanel tote and The Row soft loafers, but what I immediately noticed was much less expensive than those accessories: her socks. I could tell by the little tag on the back that they were Comme C d’Yves socks, in a color that retailers can’t keep in stock: khaki.
I recently reported on the rise of grey Socks are on trend (and Comme Si Yves socks are the pair I wear most often), but khaki socks are the color I’ve been seeing most often lately, and they’re just as easy to wear as white socks. Comme C socks are a favorite of it-girls, and those in the know recognize them instantly. They’re the perfect weight to wear with any type of shoe, and they won’t fall down or pill, so they’re worth every penny of the $35 price tag if you ask me.
