As a shopping editor, I know my weaknesses, and going to Zara is one of them. An “innocent browse” rarely stays that way, so I had a feeling my post-payday trip this week would yield results. Short? Three great spring outfits. outcome? Maybe Zara has outdone herself.
First up: white blouse and jeans. After seeing this combination on almost every beautiful woman on her Instagram, I knew I had to try it for myself. Zara’s look is a little romantic, paired with easy, wide-leg denim that feels polished without trying too hard. Add ballet flats and a simple bag, and this is one of those outfits that just works.
Finally, linen trousers with a pretty top – a combination I come back to every spring. The trousers keep things casual, the top adds a soft edge, and together it’s an outfit that works for everything from office days to weekend plans.
That was the recap, now keep scrolling to see the three Zara dresses that made the cut.

1. Blouse, jeans + knitted bag
When I saw this blouse in the store after constantly looking online, I thought it was one of those pieces that makes everything else in your outfit feel a little more cohesive without really trying. The shape is soft but still holds up well, and it hits a sweet spot between cute and easy to wear. i tried it with cream Wide-leg jeans and a knit bag, and it worked instantly. This is an outfit you don’t have to think too much about, but it pops up instantly, which, for spring, is exactly what I want.

2. Butter Yellow Dress
Butter yellow is still at the top of my spring/summer color palette, and this throw-on satin dress seems like a nice find. It’s the kind of piece that works for everything from holidays to weddings without much thought. It’s also incredibly comfortable, with a tie-front detail that lets you adjust the fit slightly, which I always appreciate. Just Add a Knit Bag and Strappy Sandals, and you have an easy spring/summer evening look.

3. Tie-Neck Blouse + Linen Trouser

To say I’m a fan of linen trousers would be an understatement, and this pair ticks every box. They’re comfortable, sit perfectly on the waist and, importantly, aren’t too long (something I always appreciate at 5’2 inches). With this lavender satin blouse with its delicate tie-front detail, the entire look comes together effortlessly. It feels polished, but still easy — exactly what I want from a spring outfit. What I love most is how versatile both pieces are. The trousers also work well with a simple shirt or tank and flip-flops, while the blouse matches beautifully. However, denim and ballet flats together make for a particularly chic holiday look.
