Tori Spelling has broken her silence on the untimely death of her ex-boyfriend Patrick Muldoon.
Taking to her Instagram handle on Tuesday, the 52-year-old actress paid an emotional tribute to her former partner while remembering their time together.
“This post took me a few days. I wasn’t ready to write because then it felt real. And, it shouldn’t be real. @thepatrickmuldoon and I met on a blind date. Thankfully it wasn’t a blind date at all because we were both on a TV series. Like every other girl in the world I had a crush on his character Austin on Days of Our Lives. I’m not sure I ever told him about it,” Tori began the lengthy post.
beverly hills, 90210 The former actress, who dated the late actor in the 1990s, further wrote, “What I met and ultimately fell in love with was not just a beautiful creature on the outside, but the most beautiful soul. He was special and one of a kind. The kindest, most caring human being with a wicked sense of humor. We found each other!”
“Laughed a lot! I laughed with and at him and loved it. He was so talented. He was passionate about what he did. And, he had a knack for making others smile and brought absolute joy to everyone who had the privilege of being in his classroom. A true gift,” she continued.
Tori continued, “Decades later, when I was going through my own divorce, I discovered that he was a true friend/companionist. He would call me and check in and send me the worst jokes just to make me laugh. He loved it when I rolled my eyes. Now I miss those stupid jokes. I last saw him last summer.”
For those unaware, Patrick breathed his last on April 19 after suffering a heart attack.
