Sidney Crosby moves into fifth place on the NHL’s all-time Stanley Cup playoff scoring list, adding another milestone to his career.
The Pittsburgh Penguins captain reached the milestone with a first period assist during Game 3 against the Philadelphia Flyers. The point was their first in the 2026 playoffs and the current series.
Crosby now trails only Glen Anderson, Jari Kurri, Mark Messier and Wayne Gretzky on the all-time list. Gretzky remains in the lead with 382 playoff points.
The 38-year-old has now recorded 71 goals and 131 assists in 182 postseason games, underscoring his consistency at the highest level of the game.
Crosby has long been considered one of the NHL’s elite performers, especially in the playoffs, as he has led Pittsburgh to three Stanley Cup titles in 2009, 2016, and 2017.
He also claimed back-to-back Conn Smythe Trophies as playoff MVP in 2016 and 2017.
