Dr. Satoshi Kasahara of University of Tokyo Hospital has done this research based on his everyday clinical experience. In a press release, they described how physicians often encounter patients with chronic pain who do not respond well to traditional treatments and that in these patients, many of the features commonly seen in ADHD appear, such as inattentiveness, hyperactivity or impulsivity, and difficulties with emotional regulation.
