David Beckham is on cloud nine after treating his “beautiful” family to his 51st birthday.
The football legend took to his Instagram account on Saturday to pen an emotional note for his wife Victoria Beckham and their children, who showered their love on him.
He wrote, “I feel very lucky and fortunate that today’s very special day was spoiled by my wife, children, family and friends from the moment I opened my eyes until now.”
“And I just want to say thank you and I love you all so much thank you @victoriabeckham and my beautiful family.”
Along with the caption, David also posted two pictures of himself, one of which shows him blowing out the candles on his birthday cake while sitting next to his mother.
In the second slide, David posted a picture from his recent birthday celebration in which he can be seen smiling in front of a cake decorated with several lit candles.
David’s family expressed their love for the former athlete by sharing warm birthday wishes on social media.
Victoria posted a video on her Instagram account of Beckham adding new chickens to his farm, which appeared to be a birthday gift.
In a previous post, she had written, “You are our world, our everything. We love you so much!!! Happy Birthday to the best husband, father, son, brother and friend. The kindest, most generous soul. We will spoil your entire day!!! No one deserves it more than you.”
As David’s children expressed their love for their father on social media, his eldest son Brooklyn once again skipped his celebrations.
Earlier this year, in January, Brooklyn announced her separation from her parents, David and Victoria, and her siblings, Cruz, 21, Romeo, 23, and Harper, 14.
