Iran has reacted to America’s latest proposal to stop the war and after reading it, Donald Trump is either foaming at the mouth or vomiting blood. In my previous post of May 4, 2026 on US-Iran war (US-Iran ceasefire or war: A fragile truce and what’s next ), I have expressed my view that this will become a long-term conflict that will never find any solution.
1. Brave Iranians defied the US and bet that Donald Trump would not be able to launch a nuclear attack on them
It is strange that the Iranian government is confident that Donald Trump will never dare to use a nuclear bomb against Iran. So he has effectively worked his position to get the US to lift the blockade first and accept that the Iranians will control the Strait of Hormuz going forward.
