Ricky Jackson left the Chicago Sky game against the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday with a left knee injury, raising concerns after her impressive start to the 2026 WNBA season.
Jackson went down midway through the second quarter after driving to the basket and attempting to change direction after contact by a defender.
She fell to the floor in obvious pain and pointed to her left knee as medical staff attended to her before removing her from the court.
The 25-year-old player was later ruled out of the remainder of the game.
Before exiting, Jackson had scored six points, shooting 50 percent from the field, with one rebound and one block.
Jackson joined Chicago during the offseason after being traded to the Los Angeles Sparks in a deal with two-time All-Star Ariel Atkins.
His arrival has helped turn Sky around at the start of this season. Chicago entered Sunday’s matchup with a 2-1 record, while Jackson had averaged 22 points, six rebounds and 2.7 assists per game in his first three appearances.
The former fourth overall draft pick was also emerging as Chicago’s primary scoring option alongside veteran guard Skylar Diggins before an injury setback.
