Daily Bread Food Bank is preparing to host a Toronto mayoral debate on August 24, 2026, focused on food insecurity, poverty, affordability, and the future of the city.Daily Bread is reviewing candidate inclusion in the debate using a 5% polling threshold. Liaison Strategies will conduct a candidate-name test to determine which candidates meet that threshold.Liaison Strategies will contact registered mayoral candidates whose contact information is publicly available through the City of Toronto.
