APHC condemns arrests, disallowing of prayers, other Indian atrocities in IIOJKتازترین

    July 28, 2026

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has strongly condemned the unabated crackdown operations, arrests and other brutalities by Indian forces in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement issued in Srinagar, said the Indian BJP regime and its forces had arrested over 3,500 innocent Kashmiris and demolished two residential houses in the last few days in the Kashmir Valley

The spokesman strongly condemned the restrictions imposed by Indian forces and the disallowing of Friday and other prayers, as well as the Azaan, during cordon and search operations (CASO) in Pakherpora, Budgam district. He said the RSS/BJP regime was using its army and police establishment to impose its Hindutva, communal “Akhand Bharat” agenda in the occupied territory. Indian forces, during a cordon and search operation in the general area of Pakherpora for the past few days, stopped people from travelling to and from the locality and disallowed them from offering prayers in the mosque.

The APHC statement said Indian state terrorism and black laws since 1947, and particularly after 1989, have failed to suppress the freedom sentiments of the Kashmiri people. The spokesman said the peaceful freedom movement would continue till it reached its logical conclusion. The APHC spokesman demanded the immediate release of Hurriyat leaders, including APHC Chairman Masarrat Aalam Butt, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Aasiya Andrabi, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Ayaz Muhammad Akbar, Shahid-ul-Islam, Merajuddin Kalwal, Peer Saifullah, Farooq Ahmad Dar, Fehmeeda Sofi, Naheeda Nasreen.

Advocate Mian Abdul Qayoom, Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Molvi Bashir Ahmad Irfani, Bilal Siddiqi, Muhammad Rafiq Ganai, Zaffar Akbar Bhat, Fayaz Hussain Jafari, Dr Muhammad Shafi Shariati, Ghulam Qadir Butt, Dr Hameed Fayaz, Noor Muhammad Fayaz, Dr Muhammad Qasim Fakhtoo, Hayat Ahmed Butt, Advocate Zahid Ali, Umar Adil Dar, Saleem Nanaji, Muhammad Yasin Butt, Zahoor Ahmed Butt, and others languishing in different jails.

The statement said the people of Kashmir would continue their struggle for the resolution of the Kashmir dispute, adding that it was high time for the Indian government to shun its stubborn approach and take steps for the settlement of the lingering dispute. The statement urged the international community to end its silence on Indian state terrorism in IIOJK and force India to resolve the lingering Kashmir dispute without any further delay
