Bible teacher, speaker, hip-hop recording artist and author Jackie Hill Perry, who has built a national following with Christian women, is the latest author to join the ever-growing list at Penguin Random House Christian Publishing Group (PRHC)
The company announced Tuesday that Perry has signed a multi-book deal with PRHC’s Multnomah and WaterBrook Children’s imprints. The deal encompasses trade books, devotionals, Bible studies with video access, and young adult resources from WaterBrook Children’s. World rights were acquired at auction by SVP and publisher Campbell Wharton and executive editor Drew Dixon, with WaterBrook Children’s publishing director Sarah Rubio editing children’s product. Perry was represented by Jevon Bolden of Embolden Media Group.
Wharton called Perry “one of the most important Christian voices of this generation. She is a gifted creative whose work is deeply rooted in Scripture and speaks powerfully to the questions shaping the church and our culture today.”
The first book in the deal, the trade title We Shall All Be Changedis slated to publish in spring 2028, and invites Christians to stop stressing over self-improvement and trust the transforming work of God, according to the publisher
Before signing with PRHC, Perry published six books with Lifeway and B&H, selling 1.2 million copies since 2018
Her first book, Gay Girl, Good God:The Story of Who I Was, and Who God Has Always Been, ranked among the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association’s top-selling titles that year. Her most recent book,Ephesians: A Study of Faith and Practice, coauthored with Jasmine Holmes and Melissa Kruger, was a finalist for the 2025 ECPA Christian Book Award in the Bible study category. Perry is also a regular voice on the Christian speakers circuit and records her music with Reach Records
PRHC has been steadily expanding its reach since the division launched in fall 2024. It added a new imprint, Align Insight, featuring general market titles that also reflect Christian values, in October 2025. On March 30, it launched Grace Corner, a digital platform for faith-based content. Two weeks later, they added another imprint, She Reads Truth, led by the two founders of a woman-focused daily Bible reading community
