Samsung has today announced a new feature for Samsung Wallet. According to the Korean company, it is called Trips and it “consolidates travel plans”, providing a “single access point for all travel details – eliminating the need to connect multiple apps and confirmations”.
The new section comes with a Trip Timeline, which brings all trip-related plans together in a single view, “adding structure to busy itineraries and providing an easier journey from start to finish”. When you add eligible items to Samsung Wallet, Trips will group them together based on time and location.
Trips supports booking of hotels, flight schedules, car rentals, excursions as well as tickets for buses, trains, theme parks and sporting events. It gives you the ability to add itinerary items manually and you can also include memos with saved items.
Travel on Samsung Wallet will be available in Korea, US and UK from the end of this month.
