Robot mowers have improved dramatically over the past few years and have become a staple for tech-obsessed folks with sizable yards. Instead of dropping boundary wires around your property to prevent your robot from mowing a neighbor’s yard, there have been advancements in new machines that allow boundaries to be set with cameras and sensors. One of these new mowers is the Eufy Robot Lawn Mower E15, and right now it’s priced at $949.99 (originally $2,299.99) after a 59% discount. According to the price-tracking tool, this is the lowest price ever.

Instead of using an RTK antenna for satellite navigation, the E15 maps your yard using its own cameras and sensors, so it’s a very practical setup. The downside is that once the map is created you can’t manually set or correct it. This will mainly be a problem if your map is larger than 0.2 acres, as you can’t tell which part to map.
The E15 also lets you create zones so you can cut certain sections at specific times. You can also create no-go zones. Eufy has been making robot vacuums for several years, so the navigation technology isn’t new, and it works with robot mowers too. The E15 can detect objects and move around them, go up 18-degree slopes, and even has a GPS tracker to prevent theft. You can read about these features in more detail ZDNet’s E15 review.
What do you think so far?
One of the biggest things you need to know about the E15 is that it cannot mow at night. Because it uses its own cameras and sensors, it needs light to do this. If you need more acres, the E18 supports a slightly larger range of 0.3 acres.
