DJ Khaled is opening up about his health journey.
In a new interview with people magazineThe music mogul revealed that walking seven to 11 miles a day, as well as playing golf without a cart, have played a major role in his weight loss.
“They call me ‘Slim Jim’ right now. I can’t wait to show the world how much I’ve got going on,” he said. “I’m crafting greatness.”
Khalid said that his daily routine is based on consistency and discipline, which starts early every morning.
He shared, “I’ve been working out, but at the same time I’ve been eating better. I’ve become more focused. And that’s really protecting my happiness and blessings.”
“You can see it. You can see the glow. You can see it in the hairline. You can see it. I live it. I run it, I talk about it. You know what I’m saying? It’s life.”
Describing his daily routine, he said:
“What I do is I play 18 holes of golf – although without any golf carts. So 18 holes, that’s about six to seven miles where I play. And sometimes I double that.
“But I wake up at six, seven in the morning. So by the time I’m done playing golf and walking around, walking around and playing golf, everyone is hugging their pillow, slobbering on it.”
“And when I get done it’s about 10:30, 11:00. I’m already into work. And then I go back and run the empire. You know what I’m saying? We’re the best.”
