Former Team India cricketer and former Royal Challengers Bangalore batsman Mohammad Kaif explained about the catch and the authenticity of the catch through a social media video. Like many cricket fans, Kaif also believes that the ball might have touched the ground when Jason Holder was on the slide.

“It is always difficult for a fielder when your eyes are on the ball and you feel that there is someone running from the front and it can have an impact on you. Then the focus on the ball is not 100%, you get distracted. So I thought the catch that Holder has taken here, he has made contact with the ground, then when that happens, he catches himself,” Mohammad Kaif said about the catch in a video post.
“When the motion was complete, control happened here; he (Jason Holder) raised his hand. Then he put the ball on the ground and picked himself up.
“There is no problem there, because he has completed the catch. I am talking about third speed, but when you are taking first speed, when you took the catch, it touched here, so I thought the contact was on the grass of the ball,” the former cricketer also said, adding that when Jason Holder was on the slide, his hand might have touched the ground.

RCB lost the match to GT
Patidar’s wicket proved to be very expensive for RCB. within 20th In the first innings, they lost all their batsmen for only 155 runs. Arshad Khan, who took the wicket of Patidar, took a total of 3 wickets. Home team, Gujarat Titans completed the run chase within 16.th over of the second innings and won the match by 4 wickets.
This was RCB’s third defeat so far in the current IPL season. In the last five matches, they have registered three wins and two losses.
