The book style foldable market is becoming increasingly crowded. Motorola just entered the market with the Razr Fold, its first crack at the form factor, and Oppo has its most sophisticated foldable yet in the Find N6. On paper, the Razer Fold vs Find N6 matchup looks like a clash of two phones that have a lot of similarities. Both have a 6,000mAh battery. Both support stylus. Both run Android 16. But if you dig a little deeper, the difference increases rapidly.

    design

Both these phones come in almost the same physical location. The Find N6 comes in at 4.2mm wide and 8.93mm folded, weighing 225 grams. The Razer Fold measures 4.6 mm unfolded and 9.9 mm folded and weighs 243 grams. The Oppo wins in terms of thinness and weight, though neither difference is dramatic enough to be immediately felt side-by-side.

The big design story of the Find N6 is its hinge. OPPO’s second-generation titanium flexion hinge uses a 3D liquid printing process to reduce the height difference to 0.05mm. This is what makes the so-called zero-feel crease possible, and the fold line is essentially invisible in normal use.

The Razer Fold has a solid hinge and debuts Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3, but it can’t match Oppo’s crease engineering on the first attempt. Both phones come in two colorways. The Razer Fold offers Blackened Blue and Lily White. The Find N6 goes a little bolder with Blossom Orange and Stellar Titanium.

    Display

Both phones use the same generation Snapdragon chip, but the Find N6 runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 while the Razer Fold uses the standard 8 Gen 5. This is a meaningful step up in raw processing power and AI workloads. ColorOS 16 on the Find N6 is a mature foldable software experience, with solid multitasking tools and deep customization. Motorola’s software on the Razr Fold is clean and close to stock Android, which many people prefer. But as a first-generation foldable OS effort, it still doesn’t have years of refinement behind it.

The Razer Fold’s cameras run on a triple 50MP setup: a Sony LYTIA 828 main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide with macro support, and a 3x periscope telephoto. The Find N6 features a 200MP Hasselblad-tuned main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto. The Razer Fold earned a DXOMARK Gold rating for real-world output. The Find N6 brings Hasselblad color science and more raw resolution. Both phones also support a stylus, which are sold separately on either side.

    Battery

This is one of the few places where the Razer Fold vs Find N6 comparison ends in a flat draw. Both have a 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Motorola claims that more than 12 hours of usage can be achieved in just 10 minutes on the charger. Oppo makes similar claims with its SUPERVOOC system. Neither phone will leave you looking for an outlet. If battery life is your main concern, you really can’t go wrong with either option.

    Price determination

Here’s the catch that the title promised. The Find N6 starts at around $1,600 in the markets where Oppo sells it, which undercuts the Razer Fold’s $1,899 US price by a real margin. But the Find N6 isn’t coming to the US or Europe. Oppo hasn’t confirmed any US or European launch, so your only way out is via grey-market imports.

With carrier compatibility, warranty coverage, and software support, this is a real risk. The Razr Fold will go on sale unlocked on May 21 at Best Buy, Motorola.com, and Amazon. The Razer Fold vs Find N6 ultimately comes down to whether you can actually get your hands on one. The Find N6 is ahead in some key areas of specifications. But the phone you have to import is hard to sell at any price.
