Meghan Markle received a celebrity praise after paying tribute to Prince Harry on their romantic anniversary.
After the Duchess of Sussex posted a carousel of wedding photos on Instagram on May 19 to celebrate their wedding anniversary, pop icon Paula Abdul offered a special congratulations to the Duchess.
Reposting Meghan’s post, which included her hit track Forever Your Girl, on his social media account, Abdul sent warm wishes to the royal couple.
He wrote, “Loved listening to ‘Forever Your Girl’ with these beautiful memories.”
He further wrote, “Wishing you both a very happy anniversary of love, laughter and love! XoP.”
Meghan’s anniversary post included never-before-seen wedding photos of the couple. In the caption he wrote, “Eight years ago today…”
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry celebrated their wedding anniversary with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. They blew out the candles on the lemon and elderflower cake, the same flavor that London bakery owner Claire Ptak used for her actual wedding cake in 2018.
In particular, the Duke of Sussex surprised his wife with a bronze sculpture of two penguins sitting close to each other. “When Mama and Papa got engaged, we had a party with all our friends, and we said, ‘Everyone dress up in animal costumes,'” Meghan told her children, adding, “We were penguins.”
