Lisa Kudrow is offering a new perspective on the ongoing resurgence of 1990s nostalgia.
According to People Magazine, the actress opened up while attending The Comeback Season 3 premiere at SXSW in Austin, Texas.
Lisa acknowledged that every few decades, the younger generation begins to romanticize the past. “Oh, well, the first part, that young people are interested, I mean it happens every 20 to 30 years anyway, so yes, it’s time,” she said.
He added, “But it also reminds me of misinterpretation or interpretation of history, that’s not really reliable reporting and I think that should remind us that unless you were there, you don’t really know.”
Lisa Kudrow is best known for her role as Phoebe Buffay on Friends, which ran from 1994 to 2004. The show also starred Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and the late Matthew Perry.
The cast held a special reunion on HBO Max’s Friends: The Reunion Special in 2021, in which they returned to the show’s recreated set and reflected on their time together on the show.
