Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn found that it was better for them to leave Hollywood for Colorado.
The 75-year-old actor appeared in a recent interview with Fox News to promote his new show, The Madison.
During the coveration he spoke candidly about moving into his log home with his longtime partner to live in the state.
“The thing I love most is that (Hawn) really loves it in Colorado,” he said of Goldie.
One reason for this is that his house is close to his son Wyatt Russell’s house.
“Wyatt and Meredith and their two boys, they live in Colorado now. So we like to spend as much time there as we can,” Kurt said.
Kurt continued about Colorado, “I would like to live there more.” “And there’s a different kind of life there. That’s the main thing. I’d like to spend as much time there as possible.”
When Kurt moved back to the state at age 26, he previously told The Wall Street Journal, “Our old Snowmass house is my favorite, a big, beautiful log-cabin lodge on a farm, which we moved to 40 years ago.
“I love getting up in bed every morning and looking out at the mountains,” he said of the home. “I love going to the barn, saddling a horse, and going for a ride. I also love zoning out in front of the living room fireplace.”
It is pertinent to mention that Kurt and Goldie have been together since 1983 but have not tied the knot yet.
