Princess of Wales Kate Middleton reportedly considers it her duty to keep the peace between brothers Prince William and Prince Harry.
In the new royal biography, William & Catherine: The Monarchy’s New Era: The Inside Story, the author revealed that Kate spent years acting as a mediator between the royal brothers.
Russell Myers revealed that she was said to be uniquely positioned to understand their dynamics and tensions.
He wrote, “His upbringing in a close, loving family environment, where supporting each other was almost an unofficial family motto, inspired his actions.”
“Whether it was mentoring William or whispering quiet words into Harry’s ear, he saw it as his duty to keep both brothers on the same team, as did his senior colleagues,” Russell said.
Earlier, Katie Nicole also told ET! That Kate Middleton played the role of peacemaker between Prince William and Prince Harry.
“It has always been my understanding that behind the scenes, Kate has tried very hard to facilitate a rapprochement between William and Harry and to act as a peacemaker,” he said.
“She loves Harry. She says she’s the sister he never had. It’s broken her heart to see them break up, and I think she’s one of the few people, one of the few members of the family, who would actually be able to bring the brothers together — which she did in a very subtle way, but very effective,” Katie said.
