Chapelle Rhone security guards have finally addressed the incident involving Jorginho’s daughter, Ada Law.
For those unaware, the Brazilian footballer accused Roan’s security guard of harassing his 11-year-old daughter when she passed by the singer’s table at the same hotel in Sao Paulo with her mother, Catherine Harding.
The 28-year-old American singer and songwriter’s security guard, Pascal Duvier, released a statement regarding the allegations after facing backlash from people around the world on Instagram.
Duvier said he “does not generally address online rumors, but the allegations currently circulating are false and constitute defamation. I take full responsibility for the conversation that occurred on March 21.”
Despite being at the São Paulo hotel “on behalf of another person”, he was not serving as Roan’s personal security.
“The actions I took were not on behalf of Chappell Rhone, their private security team, their management, or any other individual. I made the decision based on information I received from the hotel, incidents observed in the past, and the overall security risk of our location,” Duvier explained.
He insisted that “his only interaction with the mother was calm and with good intentions,” making it clear that “the outcome of the encounter is regrettable.”
It’s important to note that Duvier’s statement comes after a spokesperson for Chappelle Rhone said they have “zero tolerance” for “aggressive behavior” towards fans. People magazine.
