If you’re a mobile gamer, you know three things about gaming on your phone. Firstly, it can be found unbelievably Hot flat in no time. In my testing, I found that the Olumu Aramid Fiber Case reduced heat generation by several degrees while gaming. Not only this, but it also maintained heat Close The screen – the one place where many modern phones dissipate heat, much to our thumbs’ dismay – and even keeps the sides of the case cool when touched.
This means that playing Fortnite, Minecraft, Zenless Zone Zero and even casual games was always an enjoyable experience and did not suffer from the discomfort that comes with a hot phone. But this only solves two of the three problems I mentioned earlier, so how about performance? In one word: excellent.

As you can see from the chart above, using Olumu’s Frosted Glow Case — the slightly heavier case featured at the top of this article — took the phone to 107 degrees Fahrenheit (41 degrees Celsius). Meanwhile, the maximum temperature I saw when using the Alumu Aramid Fiber case was 103 F (39 C). Meanwhile, the highest temperature reached 112 F (44 C) in the DeBrand Tank Case, which is surprisingly protective but much heavier than the other two.
If you’re a PC gamer (or just interested in CPU technology), you’ll know that 40 degrees Celsius is the point where people start paying attention to the temperature. In many cases, phones start throttling at around 45 C. In the case of the Galaxy S26 Ultra, Samsung seems to start excessively throttling performance around 42 C based on my testing, so it’s extremely important to keep it below that number.
I ran some benchmarks using 3DMark’s built-in stress tests, which run 20 minutes of ray-traced 3D benchmarks to push the Galaxy S26 Ultra to its absolute limits. While Aulumu Aramid Fiber Case Only By keeping the phone a few degrees cooler during the stress test, the difference in performance was absolutely staggering.
When using a traditional phone case (like the Olumu Frosted Glow Case), I found that the Galaxy S26 Ultra scored an average of 900 points on this benchmark. With the Aramid fiber case, this score rises to over 1,100, an increase of 20% continuous performance The test lasted more than 20 minutes.
If you’re a mobile gamer, you’ll know that 20-30 minutes is usually when a phone reaches its lowest performance level and usually doesn’t recover from that speed unless you put it down for a while. With the Olumu Aramid Fiber Case, that speed didn’t drop off as much, and it remained consistently fast as the phone was able to stay cool.
I generally prefer aramid fiber cases for their minimalist construction, but Aulumu has given me a reason to choose its ultra-slim cases over some My other favorite brand, because it not only looks and feels better than a normal case but also helps the phone perform better under stress.
