A pilot reportedly fainted in the cockpit mid-flight last night after not being able to sleep even a wink.
Emergency services rushed to the scene after receiving reports that the 57-year-old pilot had fallen in mid-air while piloting a TAROM flight.

The pilot reportedly started feeling unwell about 50 minutes into the 6am takeoff from Bucharest’s Otopeni Airport.
The plane landed safely in Amsterdam, according to a report from Civil Aviation Safety Investigation And the analysis authority (AIAS) did not mention the date.
Before the flight back to Bucharest, the ill pilot decided that he was not in a fit state to operate the controls and handed over responsibility to his co-pilot.
About an hour into the second flight, he reportedly began feeling ill again and fainted.

His shocked co-pilot raised the emergency alarm.
When the plane landed in the Romanian capital, doctors were ready to treat the pilot.
All 87 passengers were safe and exited through the rear of the cabin.
The AIAS report found that the ill pilot had gone to work the previous night without sleeping.
He was reportedly affected by the noise and the use of solutions against mosquitoes, Information Informed.
The pilot was reprimanded and is no longer allowed to fly evening flights or flights longer than two hours.
He will not be reassigned with the same co-pilot.
This is when two pilots bark and meow at each other, while a frustrated air controller tells the pair to “be professional”.
According to the controller’s observations, the pair exchanged animal calls for more than five minutes.

He scolded them: “You guys, need to become professional pilots”.
The pilots paid no attention and responded with a series of “meows” in quick succession.
In the bizarre audio clip, another imitated a dog barking in a high-pitched voice.
The air controller quipped, “That’s why you still fly RJs (regional jets).”
Pilots typically begin flying regional airlines early in their careers, although it is unclear whether the pilots were flying passenger jets at the time of the exchange.
“It was fun for the first five minutes,” he said before the clip ended.
Pilot’s exchange near fatal Ronald Reagan was recorded Washington National Airport, site of a massive mid-air collision that killed 67 people.
