Steve Carell recently opened up and revealed that he attended Office Unprepared.
while talking to children’s bible, The 63-year-old American actor and comedian admitted that he had only seen a brief glimpse of it Office British version when he went to audition for the American version of the show.
Carell, who played Michael Scott in the mockumentary comedy series from 2005 to 2011, said, “I’ll admit, I’ve only seen less than a minute of The Office because I hadn’t seen it before I auditioned for The Office.”
Explaining why he did not watch the original show, he continued, “I started watching a little bit, and I knew right away that if I watched any more, I would just be copying Ricky (Gervais), and I didn’t want to do that because I felt if it had any chance of success, it wouldn’t be the same show.’
