Arya explained his strategy for the opening stand
The partnership between Arya and Singh was crucial in the successful run chase. For the opening stand, these two batsmen made a partnership of 126 runs in 6.5 overs.
Arya said that they kept talking to each other during the process of building a strong partnership. Since the surface was good for batting, he did not hesitate to be aggressive against the home team’s bowlers.
Punjab Kings opener Priyansh Arya said after the match, “We (openers) were talking among ourselves that if we try to score 80 runs in the first six overs, if we bat intelligently we can easily score 100 runs.
