Two-time Formula 1 world champion Fernando Alonso and his girlfriend, Spanish journalist and F1 presenter Melissa Jimenez, have become parents to their first child.
According to a report, this is the first child of 44-year-old Alonso, while this is the fourth child of Jimenez.
Alonso kept the news relatively private at first, sharing it only with close friends and his Aston Martin team before spreading it publicly.
There has been no official announcement or pictures of the birth from the couple yet. Alonso, a famous racer with millions of followers on social media, had earlier made headlines for rumors of his romance with American popstar Taylor Swift.
In April 2023, rumors suggested they were dating, prompted by the song “Karma” and a teasing TikTok video featuring a glimpse of one of Alonso’s eyes. However, this rumor faded as Swift later dated Travis Kelce and is now engaged to the Kansas City Chiefs running back and is reportedly planning a lavish wedding this year.
