King Charles hosted Bola Ahmed Tinubu at Windsor Castle during a state visit to the United Kingdom.
As part of the visit, the monarch invited President Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu to view a special display of the royal collection in the Green Drawing Room of the palace.
“As part of this week’s Nigerian state visit to the UK, President Tinubu and Mrs. Tinubu were treated to a display of items from the Royal Collection in the Green Drawing Room of Windsor Castle,” Buckingham Palace said while sharing details of the visit on its official Instagram handle.
The post also contained photos of King Charles and Queen Camilla with President Tinubu and Mrs. Tinubu showing off historical items.
In another post, the royal family also elaborated, “This afternoon, before visiting Vicars Hall, Windsor, the King welcomed President Tinubu for an audience at Windsor Castle, where Her Majesty and the President, joined by the First Lady, met with organizations that work in interfaith dialogue nationally and internationally.”
It is pertinent to mention that King Charles and Queen Camilla were joined by Prince William and Kate Middleton to welcome President Tinubu and the First Lady.
