Following her recent international travels, Chelsea Handler has opened up about world travel with her new partner.
The 51-year-old comedian talked about the relationship during an event Jimmy Kimmel Live! On March 17, Handler said of her recent trips to Jamaica, Finland and Turkey, “I went with a boyfriend.”
She added, “This current boyfriend, we were together on all three legs of the trip. Jamaica, Finland and Istanbul. So, he’s my current boyfriend.”
When asked how the pair met, Handler initially joked that it happened in Antarctica. She then corrected herself and revealed that their first meeting actually took place in Las Vegas.
“So we’re really seeing the whole world. I like it that way,” she told Kimmel.
Handler also detailed their conversation in Las Vegas, explaining that the two met when she was playing blackjack and he ran out of money.
“I was gambling, and I ran out of money. He had a lot of money, and I said ‘Hey, can I borrow a few thousand dollars? I’ll just start winning, and I’ll pay you back.’ And I did. I started winning, and I paid him back, and I won my money back.’
The conversation did not end here. “The next day he was texting me, ‘You’re a hottie. I want to hang out with you again.’ And I said, ‘Okay, my next trip is Antarctica.’ And he says, ‘I’ll see you there,'” she recalled.
More details about their meeting were shared earlier in an interview Las Vegas Review-Journal. Handler said they met at The Cosmopolitan in November 2025 and have been in touch ever since.
Earlier in March, she appeared to confirm the relationship with pictures from her trip on social media without revealing her identity.
