Four years after completing their mandatory military services, BTS is back with a brand new album, Arirang.
On Friday, the popular South Korean band released its fifth studio album, which included 14 new songs.
This came after a nearly 4-year hiatus, during which all 7 members of the K-pop group served mandatory service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Korea.
A press release about the album said, “With 14 tracks, this album is filled with honest stories that BTS wanted to share with ARMY, who as a whole group have been waiting for their PM’s return.”
“Filled with the music that is truest to BTS, this album is their heartfelt way of thanking the ARMY who have been there this entire time,” it continued.
The K-pop band – composed of RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook – is also set to embark on the Aring World Tour. The tour is scheduled from April 2026 to March 2027.
