BLACKPINK Rosé just opened up on her emotions and revealed how she feels about comfort and standing in her sins.
She shared it all in a candid moment with CR Fashion Book editorial director Paloma Clement-Picos,
In the conversation she admitted, “I feel much more comfortable than I did in my early twenties, but I’m not quite there yet. At 29, I haven’t mastered feeling completely comfortable in my own skin, but I’m definitely better at it than I was years ago.”
She also got quite candid while joining the conversation, as when asked about how she still maintains this confidence, and if it’s something she’ll ever stop doing, Rosé said, “I don’t know if I’ve reached it yet. But it’s something I have to work on every day. Even when I feel very confident, my mind is constantly evolving and finding new challenges. It’s a work in progress. But I’m learning little tricks – little ways to understand how my brain works.”
The chat ended up focusing on her experience in the industry and also being a member of a hit girl group like Blackpink. In regards to this she explained her feelings towards her milestone, which took almost 10 years in the making and admitted, “I definitely am. Now I feel it in my bones. A few years ago, I would have been like, ‘It’s been so many years already.’ But now I really feel the decade. We have been through a lot. We have achieved much and faced many challenges.”
“I’m proud to say that we have ten years of experience. I’m grateful for those years. In the past, I would only focus on my performing, working version and ignore others. But I’ve learned that if I want everything to work well, I have to take care of every part of me, and I’m still learning how to do that.”
