Morgan Evens is trying to find “hope” and focus on “positive things” after her divorce.
In a recent conversation with Cody Allen on SiriusXM’s “The Highway,” the Australian country star opened up about his life after his split from ex-wife Kelsea Ballerini in 2022.
As the singer appeared on the show to promote his new album, “Steel Town,” he reflected on his journey post-divorce.
Morgan began, “It’s a terrible thing for anyone to go through, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone, but I think like everything else, you know, life goes on.”
He continued, “You know, ‘I think you’ll look back on it and you’ll be so grateful for every second. When you’re in it, it doesn’t feel like that at all. It kind of feels like turning a blind eye,’ Of course you’d say that,’ but man, I’m so grateful for where I am in life right now.”
Morgan expressed gratitude for “the way everything went” to get him to where he is today. “So all that advice actually rings true,” he said.
“You find new kinds of strength in yourself, new resilience and I think you really find who your real partners are and who the real true people in your life are,” the musician said. “I feel like these are all the most important parts of life.”
