A “Roblox programmer” has been charged with sexual assault after police found a child-sized sex doll in his home.
When police asked 30-year-old Jamie Bourne about the doll, he replied that “he was very lonely”.

He confirmed that Bourne had an account to design games on the platform, known as “Experience”.
The spokesperson said: “Roblox’s platform allows people unaffiliated with the company to create experiences that are governed by our strong community standards.
“We currently have over 2 million manufacturers who are using our technology to build.
“We have disabled their experiences and banned their accounts in accordance with our off-platform behavior policy in our Community Standards.”
The Attorney General said: “Our Criminal Division is now prosecuting this disturbing case against Jamie Bourne.
“If you possess child sexual abuse material or sex dolls that were blown up by children, you will face Louisiana justice.”
Police said Bourne admitted to purchasing sex dolls as well as possessing child sexual abuse material on several devices.
He was already on probation for aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon when police allegedly found the material.
They seized several hard drives, laptops and phones from Bourne.
