Explaining his views, he said, “After a film that was considered a complete flop at the box-office and only got that kind of success in the last few years, maybe the last decade, people are rediscovering that film.”

“I don’t know what to say. Better late than never. I’m just grateful for it. It’s easy to make a movie that kind of falls into a ditch. I’ve certainly made a lot of them, and I’m not saying they all deserve the Josie revival and treatment, but I’m just glad that this very worthy movie finally found an audience,” the star said.
