Valerie Perrin died at the age of 82 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.
The news was confirmed by her friend Stacey Souther, who said that Perrin passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on March 23, 2026. She had been living with Parkinson’s disease and central tremor for more than 15 years.
Beginning in 1972, Perrin’s career spanned film and television. slaughterhouse-five. rose to fame with his acting in Leni (1974), which earned him an Academy Award nomination for his role as Honey Bruce opposite Dustin Hoffman.
She later gained more fame after playing the role of Eve Teschmacher superman Films with Christopher Reeve and Gene Hackman. His films also include electric rider (1979) with Robert Redford.
Beyond acting, Perrin was a prominent figure in 1970s pop culture and appeared Slacker. In her later years she suffered from declining health and remained largely out of the public eye.
