Apart from, maybe, a wedding or an airplane, I’d say jeans can be worn just about anywhere. One of the most worn pieces in my wardrobe is a pair of baggy jeans, worn so many times throughout the year that unfortunately they have started to tear at the thighs. It’s a true love for a fashion item, and it’s no surprise when they’re so versatile. However, the point is that it’s all about the fit, right? Once you find your Goldilocks ‘just right’ jeans, there’s no going back. But when worn on a heavy rotation throughout the seasons, they can get a little, well, boring – right? So instead of ditching said jeans, I decided to go in search of some denim inspiration for celebrity looks. And I was not disappointed.
Alexa Chung’s Pinterest-worthy outfit formula of a logo sweater layered over a shirt with baggy jeans and ballet flats is so simple, yet so considered. Elsa Hosk has made a strong case for re-styling cigarette jeans with a T-shirt and leather jacket and Laura Harrier and Bella Hadid are bringing back the throwback skinny and bootcut pair. And the best part, as I said earlier, they are all simple outfits that are very easy to copy.
Spring denim outfit ideas have never been easier after seeing these 5 celeb-approved jeans looks.
Celebrity Jean Outfits for Spring 2026:
1. Alexa Chung: Baggy jeans + sweater + shirt

Style Notes: I’m pretty sure this look will be saved on everyone’s ‘style inspo’ Pinterest board for spring. In an effort to shed winter clothing, people often look to the wardrobe too quickly, but this layering look is one that will work even without a coat. I appreciate how a shirt peeking out of a sweater gives a dressy feel to a worn-in leather jacket and pair of jeans. And of course Alexa gives it a cool-girl twist with fancy earrings. She can do no wrong.

Style Notes: Wearing the jeans that define spring, ecru off-white pairs never fail this time of year. Although they work as a neutral with virtually any outfit, the appeal of a simple monochrome look never fails. I’ve put my waistcoat collection on pause for the winter, but I’ll be digging back into them to recreate this look.

4. Laura Harrier: Skinny Jeans + Leather Bomber + Courts

Style Notes: I’m on the fence about the comeback of skinny jeans — mainly because I’ve spent over a decade wearing them every day — but I appreciate it Laura Harrier’s spray-on jeans look. The bomber makes it feel more 2026 but the heels still take them back to their ‘out there’ roots (in a good way).

5. Bella Hadid: Flared Jeans + Denim Jacket + Heels

Style Notes: Whether it’s Miss Sixty denim, it’s your first rodeo, or you remember them from the ’00s, they’re back. And Bella Hadid has confirmed this. It’s all about the bootcut flare and for a Western vibe, choose a Canadian tuxedo with a matching jacket – because as someone sitting here writing this in double denim, that never fails.
