This is not the first time a child molester has met a bad end in Brazil.
In December, a convicted pedophile and child murderer was shot dead just hours after being released from prison.
Two armed gunmen were seen on CCTV approaching João Ferreira da Silva as he was leaving a hotel in Sinop.
The corrupt man was forced to put his hands behind his back before being led away from the entrance.
Moments later, he was shot at close range and collapsed on the sidewalk as his attackers fled.
The former mason was sentenced to 42 years in prison for the brutal murder of a nine-year-old boy in 2005.
