Sarah Ferguson, who has not been seen for days since her name emerged in the Epstein files, is living secretly away from the media glare.
Daily Mail columnist Sarah Vine writes: “When you think about it, he is the most famous missing person in the UK. And despite the best efforts of Her Majesty’s press, not a single photograph has ever been taken of him. He was not even seen during his last flight from the Royal Lodge. Players of Celebrity Hunted could certainly learn a thing or two from him.
“What’s her secret? Simple: good friends. Someone as recognizable as Fergie couldn’t stay so hidden without some serious support, money and transportation — and the generosity of friends.”
A friend of Fergie said: “She’s a very loyal friend. She never forgets a birthday, always sends a gift. Nothing showy, just kind, sweet and thoughtful.
“The only people who don’t like her are those who haven’t actually met her. She’s generous to a fault – and it’s a fault. She’ll give you her last fiver, which is probably why she’s in this mess in the first place.”
