The cast of the MTV reality show reunited on the red carpet to celebrate the show’s reunion special – Reunion: Laguna Beach At Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica, California on Thursday, March 26, 2026.
Cavallari and Conrad revealed in a chat how they repaired their chaotic relationship after constant fights on the series People Magazine on the red carpet.
For those unaware, the two television personalities appeared together in 2004’s Laguna Beach, which featured a group of high school students experiencing the ups and downs of being a teenager in Southern California. The pair fought over their love interest Stephen Colletti, which was promoted by producers.
Revealing how he made peace with Cavallari, Conrad said, “I think it was great. It was part of the thing that we wanted to show that we’re all grown up, we’re all adults, a lot of us are parents. And I think as you grow up, you don’t worry about the little things.”
She revealed that the two of them have “a lot of similarities” and that they have been friends since last year, when they started shooting the reunion.
Conrad concluded, “We’re having a lot of fun just messaging, talking, and laughing together.”
Cavallari is also “really happy” that they have reconciled, adding that he is “grateful” to have “the opportunity to do this.”
“And apparently we haven’t eaten beef in years. We’re adults,” Mountain The alum explained. “We’ve all moved on from this, but I think it’s cool and to show everyone that we’ve moved on from this will be really therapeutic in a lot of ways.”
He further stated that “Everyone still wants to believe that we are the enemy,” even when they have resolved all disputes between themselves.
“But it’s been great getting to know her now as an adult. And I’ve realized that we actually have more in common than I thought. So it’s been interesting to watch,” Kristin Cavallari admitted.
