He adds, “Now is the time to say no to Donald Trump. We have had enough. No King Trump, no unnecessary wars that plunder our resources, sacrifice our brave servicemen and women and slaughter innocents.”
Taking aim at Trump, De Niro says, “No corrupt leader is enriching himself and the cronies of the Epstein class.”
“There will be no healthcare taken away from our most vulnerable neighbors, no groceries taken away, no cheap energy, no affordable housing and no inflation at the highest levels since COVID.”
Heat The star did not stop here.
He further hit out at Trump, saying, “There are no government masked goons shooting our neighbors in the streets. Trump has to be stopped. He can’t do all the dirty things he’s doing without the collusion of Congress and his administration’s goons.”
De Niro was not the only person in attendance from Hollywood at the No Kings protests held across the country.
Jane Fonda, Bruce Springsteen and Joan Baez also attended one of these protests. Additionally, Jimmy Kimmel and Jamie Lee Curtis showed their support on social media.
