A teenage boy was allegedly raped by a man and held hostage in his house for four days. A suspect has been arrested as police begin investigation.
The 14-year-old victim was lured to a man’s house before being raped “several times” earlier this year, local police said. She was reported missing by her father on Wednesday, January 28, before authorities launched a search. A 47-year-old suspect, identified as Aminu Suleiman, has been arrested in connection with an alleged kidnapping and rape in Jos city, Nigeria.
Police confirmed that Suleiman “will be charged to court at the conclusion of our investigation”. They are continuing to investigate what happened.
As reported NationA statement issued by the state Commissioner of Police (CP) said: “We received a report that on 28/01/2026 the complainant returned home and discovered that his 14-year-old son was missing.”
The commissioner said 47-year-old Suleman was arrested after she was reported by the teenage victim. She allegedly raped the boy “several times”.
The commissioner reported: “When she was eventually found four days later, her son informed her that it was the 47-year-old male, Aminu Suleiman, who lured her and had anal sex with her multiple times. The suspect has since been arrested and will be charged to court at the conclusion of our investigation.”
