Olympic great Sir Mo Farah has left Britain to move to Qatar, despite the ongoing Iranian conflict in the Middle East.
Farah, 43, has confirmed that he is a resident of Qatar, even though the country’s energy facilities are currently under attack by Iranian suicide drones.

The four-time Olympic champion confirmed the surprise move in paperwork for the firm he uses to pay his ongoing salary, which is worth £3.9million.
The estate includes £1.9 million of investment property and £255,000 in cash.
The firm paid £375,000 in tax and VAT in 2023.
Documentation shows that Farah has gone ahead with her decision to change residential status, despite more than 100,000 Britons fleeing the Middle East and attempting to return home.

Qatar, which is hosting the 2022 World Cup, is popular among the wealthy because it is tax-free.
Both Mo and wife Tania have changed their residency status to another firm, One Mo Mile Ltd.
Tensions rose across the Middle East last night amid reports of US troops attacking Iran – whose leaders vowed to “rain down fire” on them in a bloody response.
The USS Tripoli caused a stir when it arrived in the region carrying 3,500 service personnel just days after the US presented a 15-point peace plan.
Iran yesterday accused the US of secretly planning a ground invasion while publicly messaging about talks.
Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, the parliamentary speaker, said that Iranian forces were “waiting for the arrival of American troops on the ground in order to rain down fire on them… and permanently punish their regional allies.”
“Our firing is continuing. Our missiles are in place. Our determination and confidence has increased,” he said.
Ghalibaf said that the US peace plan was “his wishes”.
