Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton are working ‘harder than ever’ to preserve the monarchy amid the ongoing scandal.
according to radar onlineThe insider believes, “William and Kate are working harder than ever to maintain the monarchy and make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible, both publicly and behind the scenes.”
“These are unprecedented times. Everyone inside the firm has been instructed that it is more important than ever to remain calm and try to rise above all the outside noise that surrounds the family. Their devotion and passion for this cause is second to none – it is fair to say that the Royals would be completely lost without them.”
Meanwhile, royal expert Andrew Lowney has claimed the institution has quietly entered a “transitional period”, adding that King Charles is “really very ill and Prince William is starting to make decisions.”
However, he added that Prince William is “far more ruthless than his father… He can see that his reputation is being badly damaged.”
Another close confidant claimed that influence inside the palace is increasingly moving towards William and Kate, adding that as Wales’ power grows, “Camilla is less involved in big-picture decisions”.
The insider added, “They don’t want him to go in.”
The outlet also quoted crisis adviser Mark Borkowski as saying that restoring the monarchy’s credibility will depend entirely on Prince William.
Mark Borkowski says, “Really, what do William and Kate do? What does their generation do with the crown, all its soft power, its affairs of state?”
“The pressure falls squarely on William to explain what happens to the royal family over the next 50 years.”
