Jason Macdonald recently revealed why he had a scene with Kristin Davis sex and the City Never taken out of the series.
On the March 26 episode of his podcast Are you Charlotte? McDonald went down memory lane with his former co-star Davis.
The actor revealed that he was cast as Emerson for the 13th episode, Games People Play, in the second season, but it took him months to learn that they “cut out” the entire story, which was about an Upper East Side bridge party.
McDonald’s character and Charlotte York, played by Davis, were to act as partners in a flirtatious setup.
“You and I were looking at each other across the room, and then we became partners, and then someone accused us of cheating, and then we went around the corner, and you stood me up against the bookshelf and kissed me,” he shared.
After hearing his explanation, Davis burst into laughter because the entire scene seemed too “bold” for her character, noting that she does not have a “clear memory”.
