Royal insiders have revealed Kate Middleton and Prince William’s reaction to Harry’s olive branch to King Charles amid their ongoing feud.
California-based royals Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly want an invitation to return to the UK with their children Archie and Lilibet this summer to see King Charles.
A friend of Prince Harry has said, “If he was invited by the King, he would get a package of security that would automatically apply. He would want an invitation to Sandringham. Would he go? It would depend on who was there. If the King said, ‘Come and spend some time with the family’, he would love that.”
Following these reports, insiders close to Prince William and Kate Middleton have shared the royal couple’s reaction as Meghan and Harry’s intentions for reuniting remain unclear.
The close source revealed that the future King and Queen’s personal stance on Meghan and Harry “has not changed”.
The insider claimed, “If the King were to invite the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to live with him, that is a matter for Her Majesty alone.” mirror.
“The status of the Prince and Princess of Wales has not changed and they will not likely make arrangements to see them out of their way to attend any official public events.”
Commenting on the report, a royal fan said, “Both brothers need to grow up and make peace. This isn’t elementary school anymore, even though they act like it is, they’re both living in the past. They need to talk alone together and move on.”
