Jaden Ivey has caused concern among fans and analysts after posting a series of religious messages and comments on social media.
According to reports, NBA insider Evan Sideri shed light on the situation on X, writing: “There is growing concern regarding Jaden Ivy.”
They said the player was sharing long-form online videos and had deleted most of his social media presence.
“Ivey, who has admitted to battling depression this year, has deleted all of his social media and now spends hours on Instagram posting religious rants by himself,” Sidery wrote.
In a video, Ivey talked about faith and judgment, saying: “Y’all don’t take the Word of God seriously.”
“…The Lord is not going to say on Judgment Day, ‘What’s the updated score? What’s the score of the Purdue Boilermakers? What’s the score of the Detroit Pistons?’ Jesus is not going to say that on Judgment Day.
“He’s going to say, ‘What did you do for my kingdom?'”
The Chicago Bulls guard also engaged with fans online, including posts expressing strong views on religion.
