listening to father’s heart
Son, I want you to understand how destruction can enter your life
Where you open the door against my will. Do you remember the story of my sons Cain and Abel? Everyone gave me a gift. Abel gave his offering from a loving heart, but Cain gave his offering from a responsible heart. When I told Cain that his offer was not from his heart, he took it as a rejection on my part. I did not reject him; I rejected the attitude behind his offer. Their reaction to my improvement led to bitterness and resentment. Due to this the sin in his heart increased to the extent of murder. I want you to understand the power of open doors to the enemy’s schemes. I was deeply saddened by the loss of my two sons, one due to murder, and the other due to sin. My son, beware of open doors that allow sin to enter and destroy the destiny I have for you.
Abel also brought the firstlings of his sheep and their fat. And the Lord respected Abel and his offering, but did not respect Cain and his offering. And Cain was very angry, and his face became sad. Genesis 4:4-5
If you do good won’t you be accepted? And if you do not do good, sin stands at the door. And his desire is for you, but you have dominion over him. Genesis 4:7
