Prince William has found himself on a therapist’s couch amid all his ‘training lessons’ to ensure his preparation for the throne, but the details have finally come to light.
The shocking news comes after weeks of polarizing rumors, with one stating that King Charles is planning to step down, while others claiming he will ‘never’ leave the role he has spent decades waiting for. Anyhow, his son and heir has already begun his training, and it is full of healing.
according to AOLAccording to an insider, “William is being encouraged to seek guidance and support – effectively being ‘in therapy’ to help train him for the throne and prepare for the diplomatic demands of kingship.”
It’s also relevant to mention that news of this comes right in the middle of the media frenzy that the Palace is grappling with, not only because of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s allegations of abuse and friendship with a pedophile, but also because of his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson and daughters.
What the Palace thinks about Prince William entering therapy:
As for all this being on his radar, a separate insider told RadarOnline, “The message coming from the top is that he needs to be a true diplomat, someone who can rise above personal grudges and think strategically about the future of the monarchy.”
This isn’t all because other insiders have also come forward with fears about what this will mean for his chances of a successor as king because, according to one source, “he no longer sees it as something that will naturally resolve itself.”
Another says, “From his perspective, it’s about leadership and responsibility, and he’s made it clear that William needs to start thinking beyond his position and consider what’s best for the institution as a whole, and work on his diplomatic nature.”
Even a Palace aide was brought forward saying, “There is a clear feeling within senior royal circles that this is about preparing them for the realities of the role that William will inherit. The hope is not that he abandons his convictions, but that he learns to express them in a way that builds alliances rather than causing friction.”
As of now, “The feeling is that William needs to develop emotional discipline. He is being encouraged to consider how he reacts under pressure and how those reactions are perceived by others, particularly on the international stage.”
As far as what the king thinks in all this, it’s all in black and white, because the main thing for King Charles is that his son “needs to be a diplomat on the world stage in every sense of the word.” This means knowing when to ‘push’, “when to hold back” and even “how to navigate very complex relationships without letting personal emotions dominate.”
