West Yorkshire Police say three teenagers have been charged with the murder of 16-year-old Chloe Watson Dransfield in Leeds.
Kayla Smith, 18, and Archie Rycroft, 19, have been remanded in custody to appear at Leeds Magistrates Court on Tuesday along with the 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons.
Clough died in hospital after being found unconscious with a stab wound in Leeds at 5.55am on Saturday morning.
Another 18-year-old man from the city has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.
An 18-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy, arrested on suspicion of murder, have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Police were called to an address in Kennerley Avenue in the Osthorpe area, east of Leeds city center on Saturday morning after reports that a young woman had been found unconscious.
Flowers have been left at the scene for the girl.
Chloe’s family said in a statement after her death: “My beautiful Princess Chloe. I can’t put into words how I feel not having you here with me.”
“You are my life, my world, my best friend and I know I am yours. I can’t live without you – I need you.”
