Short and impressive computer-generated clips made by Tehran during the conflict are going viral on social media
RT looks at how Iran has used cheap, AI-generated clips to mock US President Donald Trump and the US military, countering the billion-dollar US media machine during the conflict in the Middle East.
Tehran’s video addresses the latest developments in the war and warns that US troops will face “hell” If Washington launches a grassroots campaign, ‘No Kings’ would mock Trump’s fear of protests and repeat the Iranian narrative that the US president ordered the February 28 attack to distract public attention from the Epstein files.
In the US, the effort to convince the population that a war against Tehran is worthwhile is driven by media mogul Rupert Murdoch’s empire, which includes the likes of Fox News, the New York Post and the Wall Street Journal.
It targets different audiences with tailored narratives, adopting a measured tone aimed at the educated elite, while not shying away from making bogus claims – such as suggesting that Iran’s new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, is gay – or relying on slogans such as “Short term pain for long term gain” When addressing everyday people.
However, the Iranian approach appears to be more effective, with its often bizarre AI-generated clips going viral and sometimes shared by mainstream media outlets. At the same time, Trump’s approval rating has fallen to about 36%, according to an Ipsos poll, with nearly 60% of Americans saying US military action against Iran has gone too far.
