King Charles has reportedly taken a tough stance towards his “disgraced” brother Andrew, now known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.
According to a US-based entertainment site, tensions have risen inside the palace as the former Duke of York makes new demands for his new home at the Sandringham estate.
A source said that Charles is becoming frustrated with Andrew’s requests for expensive renovations, furnishings and even the removal of items such as curtains from their old residence at Charles’s expense.
Speaking with the publication, a palace source said, “If Charles doesn’t stop Andrew being demanding about his new home he’s on the verge of banishing her to a caravan – that’s how tense things have become.”
“The King is angry and reluctant to grant what he sees as excessive requests, especially given the circumstances that led to Andrew’s removal from the Royal Lodge,” the royal tipster said.
Another source shared that this time “warnings about the caravan are being taken seriously behind the scenes – it reflects the King’s strong stance that enough is enough.”
